Leandra is a costume designer for theatre, Opera, Independant Film, and Webseries. Originally from Michigan, Leandra attended Western Michigan University and recieved her BA in technical theatre production and design with an emphasis in costume design. During her time at WMU, Leandra was fortunate enough to be a part of the writing team and the assistant costume designer for a new devised piece of theatre called "Good Death." This piece was created in collaboration with the Tectonic Theatre Project and moved onto the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

 

After graduating from WMU, Leandra started work as a costume technician for the newest Disney cruise ship in the fleet, The Fantasy. She spent a little over a year sailing around the Caribbean and Virgin Islands with Mickey and the gang. Leandra then went on to work for Goodspeed Musicals 50th season in East Haddam, Connecticut. Leandra currently resides in California and has recently worked with South Coast Repertory in their 50th season, California Shakespeare Theatre in their 40th season and Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Leandra is currently designing and assistant designing shows all over the Bay Area.

Leandra is the resident costume designer for Broadway By The Bay. She prides herself on working with some of the best theatres in the nation!
